Check out the Necrons in This Warhammer 40,000: Tacticus Trailer

Last year, we told you that Rivengard developer Snowprint Studios was working on a Warhammer 40,000 game. It’s called Warhammer 40,000: Tacticus, and we’ve got a new trailer to share with you.

It features the Necrons who, if memory serves, are ancient aliens hell-bent on the destruction of everything. Sort of like space-mummies, but with extra lasers.

The trailer shows off the Necrons in actions, so we reckon it’s a good way to get a feel of what the game’s going to be like when it launches. Let’s give it a watch, shall we?

It definitely looks a lot like Rivengard, but that’s okay with us – we really enjoyed the tactical, fast-paced battles in that one. The added Space Marines are really just the icing on the cake.

Warhammer 40,000: Tacticus is currently soft-launched in the Philippines and Malaysia, and has been for a while. So hopefully we should hear something about a global launch pretty soon.
