Yeager: Hunter Legend Is IGG’s Next Big RPG, and it’s Getting an Open Beta in July

IGG has just announced that Yeager: Hunter Legend, its hotly anticipated monster-hunting mobile RPG, is getting an open beta in mid to late July.

This will be music to the ears of those players who missed out on last year’s run of closed betas. Reviews of the gameplay so far have been extremely positive, so we’re looking forward to seeing what all the fuss is about.

In case you haven’t been following the game’s progress, Yeager: Hunter Legend is a visually impressive 3D RPG from the studio that brought you Lords Mobile and countless other mobile megahits.

The action takes place on a vast fantasy continent called Ekors, a sprawling world infested by killer beasts. You wouldn’t stand a chance against these monsters if it weren’t for a mysterious force called Kallar, which imbues your party with magical powers.

The stage is set for an intriguing story populated by richly drawn characters, not to mention some thrilling combat.

Aiding you in combat is a range of weapons, all with their own unique uses in battle. The Hunting Sword, for example, is a powerful melee weapon that grows stronger with each slash. The Flux Blaster, meanwhile, is your classic sniper rifle, letting you pick off enemies from the back of the pack.

There’s also the Eidolon Spear, Fury Blades, and the Force Hammer. And these are just the physical weapons. You’ve also got a range of Kallar-based skills to master.

Plus, you’ll be joined in battle by your retainer. These mount-like companions follow you around and help you out with buffs, healing, and combat support.

You’ll need it. Yeager: Hunter Legend features a motley selection of horrible, deadly creatures to hunt and kill. They include the Bile Roach and the Arc Shrieker.

These monsters appear in a range of different habitats. They include the barren Volnar Valley, the verdant Forest of Ancients, and the cold, inhospitable Frosthowl Cliff, which looks like a location far beyond the wall in Game of Thrones.

Each of these locations boasts its own unique fauna, as well as its own secrets to discover.

From what we’ve seen so far, Yeager: Hunter Legend is shaping up to be one of the biggest RPGs of 2022.

You’ll be able to try it for yourself in mid to late July. In the meantime, keep an eye on the official Yeager: Hunter Legend Discord channel for more news.
